A sleek low profile lamp housing offers a more compact design which weighs only 135g complete with scope mount. Mounting is by Deben's snap-on quick mounting system, both 25mm and 30mm scopes can be accomodated. There is also a universal mount for shotguns or rifle barrels etc.

The Atom features two coaxial beam director tubes mounted in front of the sealed quartz halogen bulb.The director tubes block out forward beam scatter and ensure more light hits the target and not the surrounding area.
